Getting to Bellagio by private bus

Bellagio is located in the central part of the Lake and if you are getting to Bellagio by private bus you must pay attention because not all Lake roads are wide enough for big coaches.
IMPORTANT  Please note that the Como – Bellagio road ( 32 Km) and the Lecco – Bellagio road ( 22 km) are prohibeted because they are not wide enough for large coaches over 9 meters long with 50 seats.
There are 3 other ways to reach Bellagio depending on where you are coming from:

FROM LECCO:
From Lecco, head towards Varenna (25 Km) where you can take the ferry to Bellagio (coaches and/or passengers only) or travel by boat or hydrofoil ( passenger only).
Coaches are not necessary for visiting the centre of Bellagio.

DA COMO:
Como – Tremezzo, 20 Km. hydrofoils and boats leave from Tremezzo and ferries and boats leave from Cadenabbia ( 21 Km), cross the lake and arrive in Bellagio. Coaches are not necessary for visiting the centre of Bellagio

On weekdays buses longer then 7.5 meters, trucks, heavy means of transportation and caravan can not drive trough the section of the road from
Argegno to Lenno ( north direction) from 06.30 am to 8.30 am. From Lenno to Argegno (south direction) from 5 pm to 7 pm.

FROM COMO OR  LECCO: SUGGESTED ROAD
From Como or Lecco head toward Erba, Asso, Magreglio and Civenna. You can reach the centre of Bellagio by crossing the mountainous part ( Erba- Bellagio 25 Km). The road is in good condition and has a pleasant view.
