Pietro Arnoldi was born in Taleggio, Bergamo, in 1955. A student of Rovello, assistant to Funi, he lives and works in Milano, via Teramo,13. An artist who is extremely versatile and capable of expressing himself in many artistics ways: from painting to sculpture, scenography to design. He uses many different materials to realize object and complementary furnishings from forged iron to glass. It is however in sculpture and wood that he has found deepest inspiration. His major interest today is to recuperate old and antique wood which has been abandoned and to transform it into a work of art. The press and national and foreign television have had many occasion in which to speak of his work, especially during his exhibitions and performances. His works are in the Lignorama museum at Riedau, Austria, and in private and pubblic collections all over the world.
